About Marcos Hernandez
My heart lies in innovation and being at the edge of discovery. At Denham Products, I extend my passion to help others meet me along the way. I employ my ambition, hard work, and creativity to bring others toward achieving their dreams as fast as possible.
How I Got Started
I was raised in Colorado, USA, where I completed my Bachelors & Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Electrical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. My thesis focused on fluid/thermal dynamics, as applied to advanced Fuel Cell technology. Currently, I have authored in a peer-reviewed journal publication and am soon to be the primary author of a new paper to reveal findings from my Fuel Cell technology research. My education and research experience has led me to accumulate problem-solving and engineering skills that I use daily at Denham Products.
What I Do
In My Spare Time
Outside of academia, I have small business expertise from my own pioneer startup. I bring experience in cultivating an idea into a physical and functional product: brainstorming, design, modeling, simulating, prototyping, R&D, supply chain, assembly, and shipping & logistics.
During my free time, I can be found brainstorming futuristic solutions to current world challenges. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and also a music enthusiast/composer (Piano), and an Argentine Tango dancer/performer. Other styles I enjoy dancing are Viennese Waltz, Salsa, Country Swing, West Coast Swing, and Bachata. Lastly, I love teaching anything I know…I always welcome intellectual chats if you happen to cross paths with me and would like to learn something new!
